GFX Introduces Technician Training Track
TORRANCE, CA – The 2012 Government Fleet Expo and Conference (GFX) features technician training for the first time, allowing local technicians to receive maintenance training as well as attend the general sessions and learn about solutions on the show floor.
TORRANCE, CA – The 2012 Government Fleet Expo and Conference (GFX) features technician training for the first time, allowing local technicians to receive maintenance training as well as attend the general sessions and learn about solutions on the show floor.
This year’s technician track features two separate one-day classes.
On June 19, Mike Kershaw of GM Fleet and Commercial Training, Raytheon Professional Services, will teach a class on “Advanced Electrical System Diagnosis. The class will cover the basic principles of electricity within a vehicle, electrical schematics, parasitic load management, electrical diagnostic service information, etc.
On June 20, Kerry Brock, ECD product manager, Parker Hannifin Corporation, will lead a class discussing the “Basics of Electronic Control of Hydraulic Systems.” Technicians will learn the basics of electronic controls and hydraulic schematics, basic concepts of software programming, and troubleshooting and diagnosing systems using available tools.
Technicians can attend one or both classes. The technician training pass includes a certificate of attendance, breakfast and lunch, networking breaks, Night on the Town, and admission to the keynote address and/or awards ceremony, and exhibit hall.
