Edward Monfort stands with a display Adomani electric Ford Ranger at the 2013 GFX.

Adomani

Adomani provides patented all-electric or hybrid conversions to fleets, with public fleet financing options available. Adomani takes out the gas or diesel engine block and puts in an electric engine, while all other parts remain standard. A battery pack is then placed in the bed of the truck, with either 30-mile or 60-mile range packs available. For the hybrid system, only the driveshaft is switched out to an electric system. The systems can be installed in less than one day.

Secondly, it offers several ways that a vehicle can be checked out, whether it's a people-based solution or the keys can be kept in a secure key box. The key box acts as a kiosk for users to login to check out a vehicle. Finally, the new solution from FleetCommander allows users to scan their badge to unlock and lock the vehicle. Reports are also available so a fleet can track its vehicle utilization, hour-by-hour.

Property Room

PropertyRoom.com’s new Yellow Iron auction program for heavy-duty equipment works to make the process of re-deployment easier and more successful with higher returns for its users. Property Room does a lot of the work for you, according to the company. All Property Room asks for are photos (up to 25) and an equipment condition description. Then, the website produces “specialized marketing pieces” that it distributes to possible buyers. Once the auction is complete and funds are collected, your agency will negotiate title, and registration transfer and vehicle delivery.
