Ga. City Opens CNG-Compliant Fleet Facility
The City of Albany, Ga., opened a new fleet facility that will allow staff to maintain and repair its compressed natural gas (CNG) vehicles.

The City of Albany, Ga., held a ribbon cutting ceremony for the new fleet facility on April 25. The new building will allow fleet staff to maintain and repair its compressed natural gas (CNG) transit buses, as well as other vehicles, the city noted on its Facebook page.
The board of city commissioners approved the purchase and renovation of the facility in 2017, after approving the city’s first order of CNG buses in 2015.
The facility will allow technicians to work indoors, WFXL reported.
