Daryl Greenlee, fleet manager for the City of Orlando, Fla., has been named business manager for the Monroe County, Fla., fleet. He started his new position on Jan. 22.
The Monroe County fleet consists of 892 assets ranging from law care and staff vehicles to large tractor trailers and heavy equipment. The fleet has three facilities and employs 18 staff members, of which 13 are mechanics.
In his new role, Greenlee plans to propose a salary survey and find means to recruit additional staff, develop a plan for remarketing assets, and propose an in-house warranty repair program for the standardized fleet. Greenlee reports to the fleet director.
