First Fleet Masters Operations to Be Awarded at GFX
The Government Fleet Management Alliance has announced the creation of the Fleet Masters operation award. To qualify, an agency must be a Certified Fleet Management Operation (CFMO) and have Tier 5 CLEANFleet certification.

The Government Fleet Management Alliance (GFMA) has announced the creation of the Fleet Masters operation award. The program was designed to recognize fleet operations that are considered to be exceptional in their industry and is given in conjunction with Fleet Counselor Services. This is the highest level of achievement that a fleet can reach within the program.
To qualify as a Fleet Masters operation, an agency must be certified as a Certified Fleet Management Operation (CFMO) and Tier 5 CLEANFleet certification. Together, these two certifications will earn the agency a Masters level certification. These fleets will be recognized each year at the Government Fleet Expo & Conference (GFX) along with an article on both Government Fleet and Green Fleet websites.
Jim Wright, president of Fleet Counselor Services, will present the Fleet Masters operations with a crystal award and a banner to display at their facilities.
There are currently three fleet operations competing to be the first recipient of the recognition, he said.
Two additional benefits of using both certification programs is there will be a substantial discount for the purchase of the second certification program, and the fleet will only be charged one annual support fee.
