Any FCA employee in the metro Detroit area exhibiting symptoms before or during their shift will be tested at one of five testing centers designated for FCA employees. Similar arrangements have been made for employees in Indiana, Illinois, and Ohio.

Employee safety measures include a daily health risk assessment, temperature check and thermal imaging cameras to verify temperatures, staggered start times and added time during breaks to minimize large gatherings, 10 minutes dedicated to cleaning and disinfecting workstations at the start of each shift, and enhanced cleaning and disinfecting of common and high traffic areas.
