Government Fleet has a roundup of the latest recalls of popular fleet vehicles and equipment.

Altec: Certification Label May Contain Incorrect Tire Pressure

Altec Industries, Inc. is recalling certain 2023–2026 Service Body, Aerial Device, Pressure Digger, Spray Truck, and Digger Derrick vehicles. The low tire pressure rating printed on the certification label may be incorrect.

Altec will inspect and replace the certification label, free of charge. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed May 8, 2026.


Altec: Missing Harness May Cause Lighting Failure

Altec Industries, Inc. is recalling certain 2025 AC Series Crane and DT Series Digger Derrick vehicles. A harness intended to prevent lighting circuit overload may not have been installed, which can result in loss of body or trailer lighting.

Altec will provide inspection instructions and a repair kit if necessary, free of charge. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed May 15, 2026.


Chrysler: Liftgate Hinge Cover May Detach

Chrysler is recalling certain 2024–2026 Jeep Wagoneer S vehicles. The liftgate hinge cover may not be properly secured and could detach from the vehicle.

Dealers will inspect and repair or replace the hinge cover as necessary, free of charge. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed May 1, 2026.


Ford: Brake Pedal May Disconnect

Ford is recalling certain 2025 Transit vehicles. The brake pedal may disconnect from the brake booster pushrod, resulting in a loss of braking function.

Owners are advised not to drive the vehicle until repairs are completed. Dealers will inspect and repair the brake booster assembly as necessary, free of charge. Owner letters were mailed Feb. 24, 2026.


Ford: High-Voltage Battery Cells May Short Circuit

Ford is recalling certain 2023–2026 Escape and Lincoln Corsair plug-in hybrid vehicles. A defect in battery cells may result in an internal short circuit and battery failure.

The remedy is under development. Owners are advised to limit charging to 80% and use Auto EV mode. Interim letters were mailed Feb. 26, 2026.


Ford: Rear Suspension Toe Links May Fracture

Ford is recalling certain 2017–2019 Explorer vehicles. The rear suspension toe links may fracture.

Dealers will replace the toe links, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed March 16, 2026.


Ford: Trailer Module May Cause Loss of Lights or Brakes

Ford is recalling certain 2021–2027 Ford and Lincoln trucks and SUVs. The trailer module may lose communication, causing trailer lights or braking functions to fail.

Dealers will update the module software, free of charge. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed March 17, 2026.


Ford: Windshield Wiper Motor May Fail

Ford is recalling certain 2020–2022 Explorer, Escape, Lincoln Aviator, and Corsair vehicles. The windshield wiper motor may fail, reducing visibility.

Dealers will inspect and replace the wiper motors as necessary, free of charge. Interim letters are expected to be mailed March 9, 2026.


Ford: Backup Alarm May Not Sound

Ford is recalling certain 2026–2027 E-350 and E-450 vehicles. The backup alarm connector may loosen and prevent the alarm from sounding.

Dealers will replace the connector, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed March 17, 2026.


Ford: Driveshaft May Separate

Ford is recalling certain 2025–2026 F-250 and F-350 vehicles. The driveshaft weld may fail, resulting in loss of drive power.

Dealers will inspect and replace the driveshaft as necessary, free of charge. Interim letters were mailed March 13, 2026.


Ford: Seat May Move Unexpectedly While Driving

Ford is recalling certain 2026 Lincoln Navigator vehicles. Seat obstacle detection software may malfunction, causing the seat to move unexpectedly.

Dealers will update the seat control module software, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed March 13, 2026.


Ford: Rearview Camera Image May Display Incorrectly

Ford is recalling certain 2020–2024 Ford and Lincoln vehicles. The rearview image may flip or invert when in reverse.

The remedy is under development. Interim letters are expected to be mailed April 17, 2026.


Ford: Rearview Camera May Fail Due to Module Overheating

Ford is recalling certain 2021–2026 Bronco and 2021–2024 Edge vehicles. The accessory protocol interface module may overheat and shut down, preventing rearview camera display.

Dealers will update the software, free of charge. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed March 30, 2026.


Ford: Headlight May Turn Incorrect Direction

Ford is recalling certain 2025–2026 Explorer vehicles. The dynamic bending light system may cause the headlight to turn in the wrong direction.

Dealers will update the headlight control module software, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed March 23, 2026.


Ford: EGR Valve May Cause Loss of Drive Power

Ford is recalling certain 2025 model-year Ford and Lincoln vehicles. The exhaust gas recirculation valve may fail, resulting in loss of drive power.

The remedy is under development. Interim letters were mailed March 20, 2026.


Ford: Moonroof Glass May Detach

Ford is recalling certain 2025–2026 Maverick vehicles. The moonroof glass may not be properly bonded and could detach.

Dealers will inspect and replace the glass as necessary, free of charge. Interim letters are expected to be mailed March 30, 2026.


Ford: Fuel Pump May Fail Due to Biodiesel Deposits

Ford is recalling certain 2020–2022 Super Duty vehicles previously repaired under a prior recall. Biodiesel deposits may cause failure of the high-pressure fuel pump.

Dealers will update the powertrain control module software, free of charge. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed March 30, 2026.


Ford: Seat Belt Anchor Bolts May Be Loose

Ford is recalling certain 2020–2026 Explorer and Lincoln Aviator vehicles. Seat belt anchor bolts may not be properly secured.

Dealers will inspect and repair or replace the bolts as necessary, free of charge. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed March 23, 2026.


Ford: Camera and Safety Systems May Fail Due to Module Reset

Ford is recalling certain 2022–2025 Lincoln and Ford vehicles. A module may reset unexpectedly, causing loss of rearview camera and driver assistance features.

Dealers will update the module software, free of charge. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed March 30, 2026.


General Motors: Tires May Have Sidewall Damage

General Motors is recalling certain 2025–2026 Express and Savana Cutaway vehicles. Tires may have sidewall damage.

Dealers will inspect and replace affected tires, free of charge. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed April 20, 2026.


General Motors: Fuel Pump May Cause Engine Stall

General Motors is recalling certain 2025–2026 Silverado and Sierra 3500 vehicles. The rear fuel pump may not transfer fuel properly, causing engine stall.

Dealers will update engine control module software, free of charge. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed April 20, 2026.


General Motors: Electronic Owner’s Manual May Not Download

General Motors is recalling certain 2025–2027 GM vehicles. The radio may not download the electronic owner’s manual correctly.

Dealers will reset the radio, free of charge. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed April 13, 2026.


General Motors: Airbag Inflator May Rupture

General Motors is recalling certain 2018–2019 Silverado and Sierra vehicles. Roof-rail airbag inflators may rupture.

Dealers will replace the airbag modules, free of charge. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed May 4, 2026.


Honda: Display and Rearview Camera May Fail

Honda is recalling certain 2024 Acura ZDX and Prologue vehicles. Software errors may cause the instrument panel display and rearview camera to fail.

Dealers will update the software, free of charge. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed April 20, 2026.


Hyundai: Power Seats May Not Detect Occupants

Hyundai is recalling certain 2026 Palisade and Palisade Hybrid vehicles. Power seats may not detect occupants and may continue moving after contact.

Owners are advised to use caution. Software updates will be provided. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed May 16, 2026.


Hyundai: Seat Belt Wiring May Be Damaged

Hyundai is recalling certain 2026 Palisade vehicles. Wiring in the seat belt buckle may become damaged and incorrectly display a belted status.

Dealers will repair wiring and replace components as necessary, free of charge. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed May 18, 2026.


Kia: Seat Frame May Fail in Crash

Kia is recalling certain 2025 Telluride vehicles. The seat back frame may fail to properly restrain occupants.

Dealers will inspect and replace the seat frames, free of charge. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed April 24, 2026.


Kia: Seat Belt Anchor May Not Latch Properly

Kia is recalling certain 2026 K4 and 2027 Telluride vehicles. Seat belt anchor buckles may not latch correctly.

Dealers will inspect and replace the anchor assembly, free of charge. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed May 5, 2026.


Kia: Power Seats May Not Detect Occupants

Kia is recalling certain 2027 Telluride Hybrid vehicles. Second-row power seats may fail to detect occupants and continue moving after contact.

The remedy is under development. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed May 19, 2026.


Nissan: Front Seat Frame May Be Improperly Welded

Nissan is recalling certain 2026 Kicks and Sentra vehicles. The front seat frame may not be properly welded and could become loose.

Dealers will replace the seat assemblies, free of charge. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed May 1, 2026.


Orange EV: Door Handle May Lack Lock

Orange EV is recalling certain 2018–2026 terminal trucks. The driver-side door handle may be missing a lock.

Dealers will replace the door handles, free of charge. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed April 13, 2026.


Orange EV: Foldaway Training Seat May Fail

Orange EV is recalling certain 2022–2026 terminal trucks. The optional foldaway training seat may fail.

Owners are advised to limit use until repairs are available. The remedy is under development. Interim letters are expected to be mailed April 24, 2026.


Toyota: Headlights May Lack Aim Markings

Toyota is recalling certain 2026 Corolla vehicles. The headlights may lack proper aim markings.

Dealers will replace the headlights, free of charge. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed April 12, 2026.


Toyota: Second-Row Seatbacks May Not Lock

Toyota is recalling certain 2021–2024 Highlander vehicles. Second-row seatbacks may fail to lock into position.

Dealers will replace components in the seat assemblies, free of charge. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed April 20, 2026.


Toyota: Load Capacity Label May Be Incorrect

Toyota is recalling certain 2024–2026 Toyota and Lexus vehicles. The load capacity label may display incorrect values.

Dealers will replace the label, free of charge. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed May 9, 2026.


Volvo: High-Voltage Battery May Overheat

Volvo is recalling certain 2025 EX30 vehicles. The high-voltage battery may short circuit and overheat.

Owners are advised to limit charging to 70%. Dealers will inspect and replace battery modules as necessary. Interim letters were mailed March 16, 2026.


Volvo: Seat Belt Warning May Not Sound

Volvo is recalling certain 2025–2026 EX30 vehicles. The seat belt warning system may not activate an audible chime.

Dealers will repair the audio module connection, free of charge. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed April 3, 2026.
