DENVER, NC – The Lincoln County EMS employee who washed his personal car recently was reprimanded, according to EMS Director Ron Rombs, according to the Web site http://www.newsatnorman.com.
Callers to news@norman reported the employee washing his car about 5:30 a.m. — in violation of the county’s water restrictions and county policy.
“Hopefully this will help our employees realize that the citizens do care and are watching what we do and maybe, they will stop and think about the consequences of their actions before they do something stupid,” Rombs said, as quoted by www.newsatnorman.com.
