Donated Ford F-150 Lightning Pro SSV One of the First on the Road

The Claremont, New Hampshire, Police Department put one of the nation's first Ford F-150 Lightning Pro Special Service Vehicles (SSV) on the road. It was made possible by a donation from a local Ford dealership.
The Ford F-150 Lightning Pro SSV is one of the first electric vehicles (EVs) purpose-built for police departments.
Former NYPD Officer Donates Truck
Christian Gomes, dealer principal at Ford of Claremont, is a former police officer for the New York Police Department (NYPD). The donation, made on July 25, was his fourth vehicle donation, according to a press release.

This is one of the first Ford F-150 Lightning Pro SSVs to arrive in the state of New Hampshire and among the first in the Northeast, a Ford spokesperson told Government Fleet.
Claremont Police Chief Brent Wilmont formally accepted the vehicle. In a Facebook post on its account, the police department thanked Ford of Claremont for its continued support. The dealership also provided the charging infrastructure and emergency lighting for the vehicle.
About the Ford F-150 Lightning Pro SSV
The F-150 Lightning Pro SSV combines the benefits of an electric powertrain with the law enforcement-specific interior features of F-150 Police Responder, including police-grade heavy-duty cloth seats, built-in steel intrusion plates, and available roof-mounted LED warning beacons.
Ford Pro helps municipal customers transition to EVs with its police vehicle lineup, software, charging, service and FinSimple financing – now offering municipal loan options for charging solutions including installation, hardware, and software.
State and local governments order banks reopened this week. A Ford spokesperson told Government Fleet that they expect order-to-delivery timing for the vehicle to be as early as three months if placed now.
