The City of Culver City, Calif., is hiring a senior fleet services technician to join its fleet team.
The City of Culver City was named the No. 1 fleet in 2013 and is an Elite Fleet. The fleet team manages and maintains 580 units.
The senior fleet services technician is expected independently perform the full range of overall maintenance, service, and repair activities on the city’s entire complement of motorized equipment, including gasoline, diesel, and compressed natural gas (CNG) engines, as well as perform machinist and fabrication work including welding. This position may be required to supervise subordinate fleet services personnel.
The candidate must have a Class C driver’s license and the ability to obtain a Class B license with passenger (P) endorsement within 90 days. The person must also obtain a Motor Vehicle Air Conditioning (MVAC) certification within 90 days of employment. The position is required to work nights, weekends, holidays, and odd shifts.
The position pays between $4,597.82 and $5,612.27 monthly. The last day to apply is Nov. 4. The city is also hiring a fleet services asistanst and a fleet services technician. For more information or to apply, visit the Culver City website.
