LAS VEGAS – O2Diesel Corporation has entered into a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with the Automotive Division of Clark County, Las Vegas, to test the use of O2Diesel prior to switching their 300-vehicle fleet to the cleaner burning fuel. O2Diesel is a blended diesel fuel alternative that consists of renewable ethanol, the company’s proprietary, patented technology and regular diesel fuel. The initial phase will involve 13 of the County’s vehicles during a 120-day evaluation period with the intention, subject to positive results during this period, of switching the entire 300 vehicles to O2Diesel within 180 days. These vehicles use an estimated 265,000 gallons of diesel fuel per year.
