SOMERVILLE, TN – The Somerville, Tenn., Board of Mayor and Aldermen voted unanimously to spend $1,386 to stripe the police department's seven unmarked patrol cars.
SOMERVILLE, TN – The Somerville, Tenn., Board of Mayor and Aldermen voted unanimously to spend $1,386 to stripe the police department’s seven unmarked patrol cars, according to the Fayette County Review. Board members took the action during their July 10 regular monthly meeting on a motion offered by Alderman Ronnie Neill and seconded by Alderman Alton Feathers.
Alderman Mark Cooper said he could see the benefit of having one or two unmarked police cars. But Neill said any criminal who does not know by now that a white Crown Victoria with three antennas on top of it is a police car is “probably already in prison anyway.”
