Chevin Fleet Solutions has announced several new hires, including Peter Ormsby, who joins the fleet software provider on March 7 as operations director.
Chevin Fleet Solutions has announced several new hires, including Peter Ormsby, who joins the fleet software provider on March 7 as operations director.
Ormsby will be responsible for overseeing software development and implementation projects, and leading a number of key global developments. He will work primarily from Chevin's head office in Belper, United Kingdom.
He brings with him a great deal of relevant experience both as an IT director and company founder, having most recently worked in the business of mobile verification and SMS distribution.
His strong experience and knowledge of IT and mobile technologies will support Chevin with the ongoing implementation of its fleet management software, including its enterprise level fleet management system, FleetWave, and smartphone and tablet-based mobile fleet software, FleetWave Mobile.
"Peter has a depth of knowledge in the IT and mobile software industries," said Ashley Sowerby, managing director. "This knowledge, combined with his strong leadership skills, will be invaluable to Chevin as it continues its global expansion."
Chevin has also recruited Marco Bakker as a new project manager in its Belgium office, effective March 2.
Meanwhile, in Chevin's UK office, Lewis Woolley been employed as junior software support and Salman Khan has taken up the role of apprentice quality assurance engineer.
