Calif. Governor Sends Trailers to House Homeless
California Governor Gavin Newsom announced he would send 100 travel trailers and medical services tents to various cities around the state.

As part of his response to the homelessness crisis, California Governor Gavin Newsom announced he would send travel trailers and medical services tents to various cities around the state.
Earlier this month, Newsom said he would send 15 travel trailers to the City of Oakland. These trailers will be installed on city-owned land. Last week, he said Los Angeles County would receive the second batch of travel trailers and medical service tents, with 30 expected to be sent by Feb. 7.
The trailers will be used as interim housing for homeless residents.
The governor plans to distribute a total of 100 FEMA trailers throughout the state, CBS Sacramento reported.
