BEVERLY HILLS, CA – For the third consecutive year, the City of Beverly Hills’ Public Works & Transportation Department’s fleet has been awarded the Blue Seal of Excellence by the National Institute for Automotive Service Excellence (ASE). The Beverly Hills Fleet Services Division is one of 15 public agency fleets in the state of California to have received this award. The Blue Seal of Excellence Program identifies maintenance operations with a large percentage of ASE-certified professionals. To qualify for the Blue Seal of Excellence, at least 75 percent of technicians performing diagnosis and repairs must be ASE certified. Eight of the nine Beverly Hills technicians are ASE certified. The Beverly Hills Fleet Services Division is responsible for the maintenance, fueling, and replacement of the city’s fleet of 376 safety, public works, and solid waste collection vehicles.
