JERSEY CITY, NJ - Patrick Bartole, CAFM, has been promoted to assistant facilities operations manager in New Jersey City University (NJCU) Department of Facilities and Construction Management.

Bartole joined the NJCU staff in 1994 as an auto mechanic, working his way up to fleet management supervisor. In his new position, he manages university facilities maintenance and systems, while maintaining oversight of fleet operations. Jagat Surujballi has been named assistant fleet supervisor, handling day-to-day fleet activities.

"All I have learned in fleet management I will incorporate in facilities management, including maintenance systems, to create more efficient processes and systems," said Bartole. He credits NAFA's strenuous Certified Automotive Fleet Management (CAFM) coursework, which included a written case study, in developing his basic overall management approach and expertise.
