Todd Atchison, CPM, began a new position as fleet management division manager for the City of Winter Garden, Fla., on June 17. Atchison oversees five employees and manages approximately 400 units. He is a certified public manager through Florida State University.
He was previously fleet & facilities services manager for Southwest Florida Water Management District, where he managed maintenance, service, acquisition, and disposal of vehicles and equipment at two facilities. He also oversaw maintenance, construction, and service of four campuses covering 16 counties.
Prior to this, Atchison was fleet operations manager for Polk County (Fla.) Fleet Management, which was consistently ranked among the 100 Best Fleets. He began working at Polk County in 1997.
