WASHINGTON - In the past week, the U.S. General Services Administration (GSA) Automotive Program Management Division announced the GSA's FY-2012 vehicle contracts for various vehicle types.

These include sedans, SUVs, light trucks, emerging technology, ambulances, cab and chassis, vocational bodies, and medium and heavy trucks. The division is anticipating awarding wheelchair vans soon.

The entire Vehicle Availability Listing (VAL) with closeout dates is available here. The majority of closeout dates are August 31, 2012.

Awarded vehicles listed under new technology are: Ford Focus BEV, Chevrolet Volt, Ford Transit Connect EV, Pure micro-compact EV, Mitsubishi iMiev, Nissan Leaf, ZT electric cargo van, and Smith Newton all-electric trucks.
