OCEAN COUNTY, N.J. – Ocean County government is considering incorporating more hybrids into its fleet, according to the Manchester Times. Nine hybrids currently in the county fleet have passed every test. Preliminary results show a 75-percent increase in fuel efficiency.

According to freeholders, it makes sense to add more hybrids to the fleet. The nine hybrids will be supplemented by four more currently on order.
