National IPA and U.S. Communities are now Omnia Partners, Public Sector, the nation's largest cooperative purchasing organization in public sector procurement, the organizations announced.

In 2018, Omnia Partners purchased the organization that manages U.S. Communities. National IPA is a subsidiary of Omnia.

The new group will an “even bigger team of experts dedicated specifically to municipal and educational buying,” the company stated.

Thousands of institutions and public agencies use Omnia’s services for combined purchasing power. All contracts available through Omnia Partners are competitively solicited and publicly awarded by a lead public agency (government entity/educational institution), using a competitive solicitation process.
