General Motors has introduced new options available only to fleet purchasers on several of its 2019 models, including Chevrolet's Bolt EV, Cruze, Malibu, Sonic, and its new medium-duty trucks. These options are in addition to fleet-only options already announced for the Chevrolet Equinox, as well as Chevrolet Silverado and GMC Sierra pickups.

While the new Chevrolet medium-duty trio of the 4500HD, 5500HD, and 6500HD will be offered exclusively to commercial buyers, these trucks will also offer the ability to delete OnStar and SiriusXM from the LT trim.

"Passenger vehicles are still an important part of GM Fleet's business and are essential to our customers’ needs as well," said Mike Batchik, commercial product manager of passenger cars for GM Fleet. "This is a big year for fleet-only options in our passenger vehicles. We're offering our customers even more options related to comfort and safety that meet their needs."

Fleet buyers of the Bolt EV can delete the rear seat and add an upfitter-installed flat floor to create a cargo model with over 60 cubic feet of storage. Several upfitters have begun offering auxiliary equipment such as bulkheads, tie-downs, and storage solutions.

Fleet options are available with the Cruze on LS and LT trims. The LS offers cruise control with steering wheel controls, and a spare tire. The LT now offers heated, power front seats. Both LS and LT offer a rear radar system that enables rear cross traffic alert, lane change warning, and side blind zone alert as well as the rear ultrasonic park assist feature. LS and LT also offer a front safety system that includes forward collision alert, lane departure warning, lane keep assist, pedestrian detection, and automatic high beams (Intellibeam).

The Malibu 1FL midsize sedan will offer LS content with an available power seat as well as the front and rear safety systems offered with the Cruze.

The Sonic 1FL hatchback fleet model will offer LS content, as well as a forward collision alert system.
