GammaTech Computer Corporation announced upgrades to its Durabook SA14 semi-rugged laptop.
The updated Durabook SA14 R3 (Kaby Lake version) includes Intel seventh generation Core processors, delivering more computing power to mobile workers. GammaTech will offer one i5 variant, the Intel Core i5-7200U (3MB cache, up to 3.1 GHz) and two i7 variants, the Intel Core i7-7500U (4MB cache, up to 3.5 GHz) and the Intel Core i7-7600U with vPro (4MB cache, up to 3.9 GHz).
The Intel HD 620 Graphics package, designed specifically for Intel Kaby Lake processors, enhances visual computing, does not require an add-in card, and offers faster frame times, low energy use, and superior image quality.
The Durabook SA14 R3 features an optional sunlight readable HD LCD with optional resistive touchscreen, a stealth mode with optional night-vision setting, a quick release 500GB-1TB HDD or 128GB-1TB SSD, 8GB-32GB DDR4 RAM, and a 2.0-megapixel webcam. The device also includes Intel Dual Band Wireless AC8260 (a/b/g/n/ac), Bluetooth 4.2, Gobi 5000 LTE, a GPS module with built-in GPS antenna, Intel® vPro™, an integrated Smart Card Reader, TPM2.0 and a fingerprint scanner.
