The U.S. Department of Justice Bureau of Prisons will implement a telematics solution in its transport buses. The solution, from Kevadiya and ORBCOMM, will help Bureau administrators gain full visibility of their fleet, optimize routing based on scheduling and vehicle requirements, and take immediate action in the event of an emergency.
The telematics solution utilizes Kevadiya's telematics application and ORBCOMM's satellite communications services to provide vehicle position and performance data, route and trip management, customized maintenance reporting, and two-way communication with drivers.
