Do you know a fleet leader who has made a lasting impact on the industry? Nominate this fleet professional for the 2026 Public Fleet Hall of Fame, produced by Government Fleet and the American Public Works Association.

Public Fleet Hall of Fame members are recognized industry leaders and pioneers who have contributed to the public fleet management profession. Eligible nominees must have at least 20 years of experience in the fleet industry. At least 10 of these years must have been spent working for a public fleet or a private company contracted to manage a public fleet.

Nominees do not have to be currently working in a public fleet to be nominated. Self-nominations are accepted.

Nominations close on Friday, March 6, 2026!

The Public Fleet Hall of Fame honorees will be chosen by a combination of industry professionals via an online ballot and Government Fleet staff. Three fleet veterans will be inducted this year.  Of all the Hall of Fame inductees, one exceptional fleet professional will be chosen to receive the Legendary Lifetime Achievement Award. Both awards are in partnership with Sourcewell.

The recipients of these awards will be recognized at The Honors Celebration during the Government Fleet Expo & Conference (GFX). Past winners can be seen here.
