Sourcewell Increases Offerings in Public Safety
Sourcewell awards contracts in ‘Firefighting Personal Protective Equipment’ and ‘Firefighting Equipment and Rescue Tools’ through solicitations #032620 and #040220.

Firefighters can breathe a little easier with the addition of two new categories of fire service contracts, including personal protective equipment, at Sourcewell.
Twelve suppliers were awarded between the Firefighting PPE and Firefighting Equipment and Rescue Tools categories at Sourcewell.
These new Sourcewell contracts in the area of firefighting include turnout gear, helmets, boots, gloves, self-contained breathing apparatus and accessories, fire hose, nozzles, extrication tools, and thermal imagers.
Revenue generated through the use of these contracts is shared with fire chiefs associations across the country, including the International Association of Fire Chiefs (IAFC), its divisions, and state fire chiefs associations.
Awarded suppliers include C.E.T. Fire Pumps, Draeger, Fire-Dex LLC, Grainger, Husqvarna Professional Products, Innotex Corp., Kipper Tool Company, LION First Responder PPE Inc., L.N. Curtis & Sons, Motion Industries, Municipal Emergency Services, and Safeware Inc.
