IronPlanet will run its end-of-quarter events from June 27 to 30, featuring an All-Humvee Auction and three equipment sales on the IronPlanet and GovPlanet websites.
IronPlanet announced that its GovPlanet marketplace will hold its latest All-Humvee online auction sale of U.S. Army and U.S. Marine Corps Humvee vehicles on Nov. 15.
IronPlanet announced that it sold 9,890 items from auction events in the month of September, which sold for more for more than $99 million in GMV (Gross Merchandise Volume).
GovPlanet released its top five sellers since the marketplace’s launch in November 2014. Humvees are the top-selling items by value and type, and the company has sold nearly 5,000 Humvees for more than $40 million in gross merchandise value.
The Iowa Department of Public Safety (DPS) has added eight Humvees to its fleet through the military’s 1033 Program. The 1033 program allows a transfer of military equipment to law enforcement agencies at no cost to the agency.
