Amsoil’s Heavy-Duty Antifreeze & Coolant is designed for better heat transfer and protection against corrosion, cylinder-liner cavitation, freezing and boil-over. It provides protection in extreme temperatures and operating conditions for aluminum, steel, cast iron, copper, brass and solder alloys.

The ethylene glycol-based liquid is a poly-organic acid formulation that does not contain inorganic acid salts found in conventional and hybrid-organic acid antifreeze coolants. This alleviates the problem of scaling issues caused by these inorganic acid salts.

The product protects cylinder liners against cavitation erosion and corrosion pitting. The blend of organic acids can provide a durable and long-lasting protection of cooling system components for up to 600,000 miles and 12,000 hours or six years of operation.

The liquid is pre-mixed 50/50 with high-purity water and is fully formulated so it doesn't need supplemental coolant additives or extenders. The organic formulation also includes anti-scalant, anti-fouling and water pump lubrication additives. It has boil-over protection for up to 265 degrees with a 15 psi radiator cap and freeze protection down to -24 degrees Fahrenheit.

Amsoil’s product is compatible with systems from several manufacturers including, Caterpillar, Cummins, Detroit Diesel, Ford, and Freightliner. It comes in single-gallon containers, a four pack, or a 55-gallon drum.
