ConExpo-Con/Agg 2014

The ConExpo-Con/Agg convention, held every three years, was in Las Vegas on March 4-8, 2014. The event brought out more than 2,000 vendors this year and more than 120,000 resgisterations in total. This was the second-highest attendance in the event's history. California 2014-MY Police Vehicle Tests

2012 LA Auto Show Design Challenge - Police

The 2012 LA Auto Show's Design Challenge, now in its 9th year, was themed Law Enforcement in 2025. Six design studios designed highway patrol vehicles to meet "the challenges of a specific region’s transportation and societal conditions in 2025.” Entries were judged by Tom Matano, School of Industrial Design at San Francisco's Academy of Art University; Imre Molnar, Detroit College of Creative Studies; Stewart Reed, Pasadena Art Center College of Design; and Bruce Meyer, California Highway Patrol 11-99 Foundation. 2011 Los Angeles Auto Show

At the 2011 L.A. Auto Show, several major automakers unveiled new models, including the Cadillac XTS and Mazda CX-5. Ford also revealed the new Escape. And for the first time ever, the Motor Press Guild awarded one automaker for a "Vehicle of the Year" award. The winner for 2011 is Audi for the A7. Photos by Joanne M. Tucker. Washington City, Utah CNG Fueling Station

Washington City, Utah used U.S. Department of Energy grant money to pay for a new CNG fueling station and CNG vehicle conversions. The City has being converting vehicles in its fleet, primarily Ford pickup trucks, and expects to save $2,330 per vehicle per year on fuel costs.
