Yazoo County, Miss. Awards Seven New Pumpers to Ferrara

HOLDEN, LA – Ferrara Fire Apparatus, Inc., America’s premier custom fire apparatus manufacturer, has been awarded a contract by Yazoo County, Mississippi. Ferrara will build the city seven (7) new heavy duty, extruded aluminum pumpers on Freightliner chassis.

Yazoo County, located in central Mississippi, performs emergency services to a population of over thirty thousand Mississippians. Their new Ferraras will have 1250 GPM pumps with top mount controls, 1250 gallon tanks and left side full height rescue style compartments.

Ferrara Fire Apparatus manufacturers a complete line of fire, emergency and rescue vehicles, including their premium Inferno XD and Igniter XD custom chassis, pumpers and tankers, rear and mid-mount aerial ladders and platforms, rescue and incident command vehicles, Inundator foam pumpers, airport vehicles and the Strong Arm fire rescue vehicle.
