The 2024 Government Fleet Expo and Conference (GFX) is set to not only be an immersive experience for fleet professionals but jam-packed with a wide range of educational sessions, hands-on experiences, and networking opportunities. Plus, the addition of an all-new Public Transit Conference track and the return of the Police Fleet Conference track means there's even more to take in than before.
As you prepare to attend this event, here's a comprehensive guide to help you make the most out of your time:
Day 1: Tuesday, May 7, 2024
Registration opens at 8 a.m., marking the beginning of a day filled with valuable insights and interactions. First-time attendees can get a jump-start to learning about GFX from the First-Timers' Orientation session starting at 9 a.m., offering one-on-one time with fellow newcomers and a chance to ask questions ahead of the main event.
The GFX Block Party & Experience kicks off at 10 a.m., providing attendees with a mix of ride and drives, hands-on training, and a technology showcase. It's an interactive way to set the tone for the expo.
In the afternoon, from 1 p.m. to 3:15 p.m., don't miss the OEM Showcase, where representatives from various auto manufacturers will share insights on current trends and future directions in vehicle technology.
After a networking coffee break at 3:15 p.m., attendees can gain inspiration from the industry keynote address at 4 p.m., followed by The Honors Celebration at 4:30 p.m., recognizing outstanding achievements in the industry.

Day 2: Wednesday, May 8, 2024
Start your day with a breakfast at 7:30 a.m., followed by the opening keynote address at 8:30 where Columbus, Ohio's Kelly Reagan will talk about the traits, style, and strategies of servant leadership.
Throughout the day, attendees can attend educational sessions covering a wide range of topics, including ZEV infrastructure, fleet management best practices, and procurement strategies. The Exhibit Hall will also be open from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., providing an opportunity to explore the latest innovations in fleet management technology.
Lunch will be served in the Exhibit Hall from 11:45 a.m. to 12:45 p.m., offering another opportunity for networking and discussion. Wrap up the day with dinner on your own from 5:15 p.m. to 8 p.m., followed by a Networking Night on the Town at the Louisville Slugger Museum.

The exhibit hall will open at 10:50 a.m. with a Ribbon Cutting Ceremony.

Day 3: Thursday, May 9, 2024
Day three begins with breakfast at 7:30 a.m., followed by the Big Solutions Roundtable at 8:30 a.m., where attendees can collaborate on industry challenges and brainstorm innovative solutions.
Educational sessions and exhibits will continue throughout the day, providing ample opportunities for learning and networking. The Exhibit Hall will be open from 11:30 a.m. to 3 p.m., allowing attendees to explore the latest products and services in the industry. This is also the time to check out the on-site Shop Talks and From the Show Floor educational sessions.
Once main sessions have been wrapped up head over to the Farewell Happy Hour from 4:15 p.m. to 5:15 p.m., offering a final opportunity to network and maybe even plan for GFX 2025.

There are multiple networking opportunites at the conference to catch up with old friends and new alike.

Day 4: Friday, May 10, 2024
Optional training sessions are available for those interested in delving deeper into fleet management systems and practices. These sessions, including RTA Fleet Training and AssetWorks FleetFocus User Training, provide insights to enhance fleet management skills.
