Walla Walla Community College to Use FleetCommander to Manage Motor Pool and Track Maintenance
CHANTILLY, VA – The Web-based fleet management system is being used to manage over 350 assets owned by WWCC, in addition to tracking maintenance and producing work orders.
CHANTILLY, VA – Walla Walla Community College (WWCC) will be using Agile FleetCommander to manage its fleet's motor pool and track vehicle maintenance. The Web-based fleet management system is being used to manage over 350 assets owned by WWCC. FleetCommander is also being used to track maintenance and produce work orders for not only their fleet vehicles, but also for customers' vehicles being serviced through WWCC's vocational instruction programs.
When investigating asset management and maintenance tracking systems, WWCC was looking to be able to manage all of its vehicles, including the motor pool, as well as track maintenance performed on non-College vehicles at their campus garages. At these garages, auto mechanic students perform services on college-owned vehicles and vehicles from retail customers in the community.
"During the evaluation process, we looked at several fleet management and maintenance systems. In the end, FleetCommander was the only system that could address the majority of our needs, in a single solution, and at a price we could afford," said Laura Rau, WWCC's director of accounting services.
FleetCommander will help the college manage multiple facets of the organization and save them money by more accurately tracking vehicles, reducing staff time, and right-sizing their fleet, said Ed Smith, Agile's president.
