NORFOLK, VA – CCG Systems, Inc. has added three more customers to its roster. The City of Arvada, Colo.; County of Cape May, N.J.; and Durham Transit, N.C. have purchased CCG’s FASTER fleet management system to replace their existing systems.

When the City of Arvada Colo.'s Fleet Maintenance Division was informed by their former vendor that it would stop supporting its fleet management system, they were on the fast track of researching fleet management systems that best fit the needs of their operation. Aside from maintaining and servicing a fleet size of 600, the division is also responsible for procurement, inventory, and maintaining two fuel sites. Considered as one of the most progressive cities in the Denver Metro area, the City of Arvada has an estimated population of 105,000.

Meeting the project’s scope of work, the County of Cape May’s Road Department awarded its RFP contract to CCG Systems, Inc. The department employs 18 technicians responsible for the maintenance and repair of all 2,000 county owned light and heavy vehicles.

The Durham Area Transit Authority (DATA) issued a Purchase Order for the FASTER Fleet Management system. The Transit Authority contracts for the provision of its fixed route service and paratransit service every five years. In October 2007, the City Council awarded this contract to Durham City Transit Company, Inc. (DCTC). The fixed route system includes 165 employees and 50 buses providing more than 13,000 passenger trips daily on 19 different bus routes. The paratransit system includes 43 vans and 57 employees transporting clients to various places within the City of Durham. Known either as the ‘City of Medicine” or the “Bull City,” the City of Durham has an estimated population of 209,009.

FASTER’s complete, real-time, easily accessible data enhances management staffs’ ability to make proactive decisions to maximize availability, usage, and cost effectiveness of resources. For more information about the FASTER product and services, or to request a demo CD, contact Allan Richardson (West Coast) and/or M. Lynn Stuart (East Coast) at (800) 753-2783 or send an e-mail to ccg.marketing.web@ccgsystems.com.
