WAYNE, PA – AssetWorks, a provider of fleet Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) software and Automated Fuel Systems, has signed a fleet management software and implementation services contract with the City of Memphis, Tenn.

The City of Memphis, located along the Mississippi River, is the second largest metropolitan area in Tennessee.

More than 140 technicians working in 14 shops are responsible for maintaining the city’s fleet of 6,000 vehicles. Due to ongoing budgetary constraints, the city has increased its focus on warranty recovery, parts inventory, work order management, and reporting. In addition, city officials were also looking to gain better visibility into the total cost of ownership of their fleet.
