FITCHBURG, MA – The City of Knoxville, Tenn., recently implemented Chevin Fleet Solutions’ FleetWave enterprise fleet management information system to gain control over rising fleet running costs while allowing real-time remote access to the City’s dispersed agencies.

The City of Knoxville maintains a diverse fleet and utilizes FleetWave’s workshop, inventory, purchasing, warranty, campaign and recall, driver, and accident management capabilities. FleetWave’s asset-centric architecture supports the City of Knoxville’s complex equipment inventory requirements while enabling complete vehicle and equipment assignment and preventive maintenance management, according to FleetWave officials.

Capturing complete equipment attributes to integrated fuel management, FleetWave has replaced numerous City systems with a single integrated system. To streamline administrative workload while providing oversight of fuel, FleetWave is integrated with the City’s fuel management system, automatically integrating all fuel transactions.
