OLATHE, KS – Superior Signals, Inc., a manufacturer and distributor of vehicle safety lighting and traffic control products, recently introduced Meteorlite High Intensity LED Modules that feature an encapsulated power supply eliminating the need for an external power source. The SYLED03 and SYLED04 modules feature three or four high-intensity 1-watt LEDs with multiple flash patterns. The LED modules have successfully performed in a variety of indoor and outdoor applications on heavy-duty, highway, commercial, construction, utility, and emergency vehicles.
The SYLED03 offers 12 different flash patterns, while the SYLED04 offers 19 flash patterns. Both units are sealed to keep moisture out and have a simple 2-wire installation, reducing costs associated with conventional remote strobe systems. The units, available with amber, blue, clear, or red LEDs, use either 12 or 24 vdc. The SYLED03 measures 3.8”L x 1.6”W and the SYLED04 measures 4.8”L x 1.6”W and optional mounting brackets. The modules have a five-year limited warranty and meet SAE J1318 and E13 specifications.
