Saline County Receives Donated Hummer for Emergency Weather Situations
MARSHALL, MO - The Saline County Sheriff’s Department received an army surplus High Mobility Multipurpose Wheeled Vehicle (a Hummer or Humvee) to help the County in the event of a weather emergency, according to the Marshall Democrat-News.
MARSHALL, MO - The Saline County Sheriff’s Department received an army surplus High Mobility Multipurpose Wheeled Vehicle (a Hummer or Humvee) to help the County in the event of a weather emergency, according to the Marshall Democrat-News.
The vehicle, which has 22,000 miles on it, was donated through the U.S. Department of Defense’s 1033 reutilization program. The County paid $22 in gas for transportation.
