POLK COUNTY, FL - Polk County Fleet Management has been recognized by the APWA and Public Works Magazine with an Honorable Mention Award in their Public Works Department of the Year recognition for 2007. Polk County Fleet Management was named among the 100 Best Fleets in America for the third consecutive year.
“We feel this is noteworthy because PCFM isn’t a part of Public Works here in Polk County and because this award typically recognizes entire departments of which fleet may be only one part,” according to Bob Stantlon of PCFM, who received certification from the APWA in their Certified Public Fleet Professional(CPFP) in October.
