Police vehicle lights are an essential tool for law enforcement officers on duty. The flashing lights on a police vehicle serve as a signal to other drivers and pedestrians that law enforcement is present, and they can help prevent accidents and keep everyone on the road safe. At the 2023 Police Fleet Conference (PFC), fleet professionals can engage in a discussion about the science behind police lighting and get a look at the technology available for law enforcement lights.
In Light it Up: Spotlight on Law Enforcement Vehicle Lighting, retired deputy commissioner of support services for the New York City Police Department Robert Martinez shares about police lighting. Through Martinez's leadership, the department was the first to use an LED light bar. Additionally, Martinez will be joined by representatives from major law enforcement lighting manufacturers, who will engage in a discussion about lighting technology.
New in 2023, PFC runs concurrent to the Government Fleet Expo & Conference (GFX). Attendees have a chance to address issues specific to law enforcement fleets, as well as learn solutions for common issues. GFX is being held May 22-25 in Dallas. Register by April 20 for $100 off!
Attendees can register on the GFX website.
