The City of Worthington, Ohio, is seeking qualified candidates for the position of fleet manager. This position provides management and direction for the city’s fleet management program. Responsibilities include managing the maintenance, repair, and purchasing of all city vehicles and equipment; preparing bid specifications; inventory control; fleet planning for the city’s Capital Improvement Program; and supervision of fleet maintenance technicians.
A Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in business management, public administration, or related field is preferred; four years of practical automotive experience in a supervisory or management role is preferred; or the equivalent combination of experience and training which provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities of the position.
This is a full-time, classified position with a salary range of $65,436 to $82,370 and an excellent benefits package.
