New Hampshire lawmakers are poised to approve a bill that would remove an exemption that has allowed federal fleet vehicles to skirt the state's gasoline tax.
The bill sponsored by state Sen. Dan Feltes (D-Concord) would bring the state an estimated $335,406 in additional revenue. U.S. Postal Service and other federal fleet vehicles would be affected.
The state Senate is expected to pass the bill on March 17, reports the Concord. Read the bill text here.
