The City of Leadington (Mo.) will sign an open-ended lease for $1 per year for a pumper truck being retired by the Farmington Fire Department, following approval by the Board of Aldermen.
The Farmington FD is acquiring a new fire truck, and has committed to leasing its current truck with a five-man cab to Leadington. The truck, which has 1,250 feet of 5-inch hose, would need to be pump-tested and restriped.
The truck remains in good shape despite its age, reports the Daily Journal.
