Jay Johnson has been named Executive Vice President Sales & Marketing for Rosenbauer America.
Two-Plus Decades in the Fire Apparatus Industry
Johnson has worked in the fire apparatus and equipment industry for over 20 years. He previously worked for Brindlee Mountain Fire Apparatus, BullDog Hose Company, REV Group, and Akron Brass.
Johnson has moved his way up throughout his time in the industry, from contract administrator to vice president.
While working with fire apparatus manufacturers, the majority of prior positions held were fully engaged with existing and new fire service customers, dealer partners, and various internal teams from sales and marketing to product management and customer service.
This included working closely with engineering, manufacturing, and supply chain on new product development projects as well as growing after-market parts to establish future business and support clients throughout the world, Johnson told Government Fleet.
