David Barratti, VP Sales & Marketing, Heil Environmental

CHATTANOOGA, TN – David Baratti, vice president of sales and marketing for Heil Environmental, died this weekend at home in Chattanooga. Further details, including funeral arrangements, are not yet available. He is survived by his wife, Angie, and daughter, Caitlyn.

Baratti joined Heil in January 2002 as general sales manager, eastern region. He was promoted to director of marketing in June 2002. In May 2005, he was promoted to vice president, North American sales. He was promoted to vice president, sales and marketing in February 2006. In this position, he had global responsibility for all of Heil’s sales and marketing activities, product development, and customer support.

Baratti came to Heil from Grote Industries, a vehicle safety systems manufacturer. He joined Grote in 1990 as a field rep. After a stint as southeast regional sales manager, he spent four years as manager of marketing services, with responsibility for marketing, product development, and customer service. He was named director of OEM sales in 1997 and held this position until he signed on at Heil.

He enjoyed outdoor sports, especially mountain biking, hiking, camping, and fishing.
