CHATTANOOGA, TN – The Heil Environmental Ready Truck program has launched a new Web site, www.heilreadytrucks.com/, to serve as a resource for haulers looking for new or used refuse collection vehicles. The Heil Ready Truck program offers customers complete refuse collection vehicles that are in stock and ready to work, eliminating long lead times. The Web site provides a current inventory listing of automated side loader, front loader, and rear loader refuse collection vehicles that have been built with the most popular chassis/body configurations and industry-proven specifications. Visitors to the site can click on the vehicle they’re interested in to get a listing of its chassis specs, standard body features, and other details, and then can request a quote for the vehicle from their local Heil sales representative. “The Web site makes it easy for customers to see what’s available and compare various body/chassis combinations,” says Richard Ball, Ready Truck manager. “When they find refuse collection vehicles they’re interested in, a quote from the local Heil sales representative is just a click away. In most cases, they can have the new vehicles in their fleets within two weeks.” For customers looking to avoid long chassis lead times and who need custom bodies, the Web site contains a listing of chassis that the Ready Truck program currently has in stock. Customers can choose their chassis, and then work with their local sales representative on the body to be mounted on it. The Web site also lists for sale Heil refuse collection vehicles that have been used as demonstration units in the field. Information is included about where the vehicles are located, when they were first placed into service, and current mileage. Heil distributors also post used equipment for sale on the site.
