The Georgia Department of Public Safety has added three Chevrolet Camaro LT1s to its fleet. The Georgia State Patrol received its first LT1 last fall, but it was not used for patrols until May 2022. A second LT1 is currently being modified for patrol use.
The Motor Carrier Compliance Division also received an LT1, which is used for recruiting.
The vehicles being used for patrols went through a series of modifications before being used for patrols. They received a rear seat delete, a roll bar was installed, as well as interior mounted blue emergency lights, a siren, a radio, printer, and computer docking station and stand. The vehicles also have a rifle mount/lock.

The Motor Carrier Compliance Division of the Georgia Department of Public Safety was also issued a Camaro. It's seen here in front of the state capital building, alongside one of the Georgia State Patrol Camaros.
