Ford's Special Service Police Interceptor sedan is now the most fuel-efficient police car sold in the United States, following official ratings from the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency.
The non-pursuit-rated sedan has been rated to achieve 24 mpg combined, including 30 mpg on the highway and 20 mpg in the city. The most fuel-efficient police vehicles from Dodge and Chevrolet achieve an EPA-estimated rating of 21 mpg combined.
