Florida Names New Highway Safety Director
TALLAHASSEE, FL – Florida Gov. Charlie Crist has named Electra Theodorides-Bustle the new director of the state's Department of Highway Safety and Motor Vehicles.
TALLAHASSEE, FL – Florida Gov. Charlie Crist has named Electra Theodorides-Bustle the new director of the state’s Department of Highway Safety and Motor Vehicles, according to the Bradenton Herald newspaper. Theodorides-Bustle, 41, has been serving as the assistant commissioner of the Florida Department of Law Enforcement. She replaces Fred Dickinson, who resigned earlier this year.
About a decade ago, Theodorides-Bustle worked at the highway safety agency as an assistant general counsel. Her experience also includes a stint at the Sarasota County Sheriff’s office.
