CINCINNATI – First Vehicle Services’ Fort Wayne, Ind., location has received a Star designation from the Occupational Safety and Health Administration as part of the agency’s Voluntary Protection Program (VPP).
CINCINNATI – First Vehicle Services’ Fort Wayne, Ind., location has received a Star designation from the Occupational Safety and Health Administration as part of the agency’s Voluntary Protection Program (VPP). The VPP program recognizes businesses that demonstrate excellence in occupational safety and health, and Star sites have proven themselves to be exemplary worksites. A Star status is the highest program designation.
“We are pleased to be recognized for our safety and health practices at our City of Fort Wayne location,” said Michael Bloss, president of First Vehicle Services. “Safety, in particular, is a very high priority at all of our locations, and in the fleet maintenance environment, as with any environment working with heavy equipment, constant vigilance is required to maintain high safety standards. We are very proud that the group at Fort Wayne is being recognized for their commitment to excellence, and their diligence in maintaining those standards.”
