ROMULUS, MI – A man working as an airplane de-icer at Detroit Metropolitan Airport was caught Apr. 11 with an open beer and legally drunk after tipping over his vehicle, according to the Grand Haven Tribune. The de-icer truck tipped over shortly after the man left a parking lot at the airport in suburban Detroit, and wasn’t near aircraft. A second, unopened beer also was found in the vehicle. The man was younger than 21 and was arrested by airport police.

The man was an employee of Orlando, Fla.-based Aircraft Service International Group. He was expected to be charged with underage drinking and operating a vehicle under the influence of alcohol.
