Eight marked vehicle schemes will patrol highways, neighborhoods, and business districts around the state for the remainder of the centennial year. Six of the retro graphic designs depicted on the 2023 Chevrolet Tahoes are in the likeness of State Police vehicles from the 1930s to the 1980s. In addition to the six designs, the division also deployed several Tahoes displaying its centennial graphics.

"While these vehicles may harken back to decades of the past, make no mistake that they are equipped with all of the modern-day equipment that troopers need to effectively uphold the laws of the First State and ensure the safety and well-being of all residents and visitors," the press release read.
In 2021, Government Fleet reported that New Jersey State Police also commemorated 100 years of service with retro vehicle designs. Michigan State Police did in 2017 as well.
